A “Rusted-Out” Fiberglass Body HotRod???

This car is an incredible piece of work shown at a local Car Show in 2007. An immaculate car which was at one point a completely “cherry” Canary Yellow show car was transformed to appear rusted. That’s right guys this completely fiberglass body was “antiqued” down to every last detail to look like mother nature has ravished it beyond belief. Upon closer inspection the amount of detail that went into this job is staggering. If we didn’t show you the Before and After shots you’d swear it was a metal bodied car…. Wouldn’t you?
This is an example of “Antiquing” at its FINEST!

Ice-T and Coco filming of the “Murder” Red Bentley project

What more can you say, today the “O.G.” himself Ice-T and beautiful wife Coco came to the shop to check out the progress on the “Murder Red” Bentley GT. Cameras rolled as Ice-T ripped apart the crew that attempted to paint his Bentley for him in N.Y. needless to say they screwed it up BIG-TIME.

Ice reminds them on camera, N.Y. we love you BUT there’s only one place to go if you really want that Candy Paint done and done right… and that is CALIFORNIA where it was born, and obviously HARD Lifestyle, where it was PERFECTED!

Coco was on hand to give her “seal of approval” and once we knew she liked the color, the rest would be easy!

Big thanks to Ice-T and Coco for stopping by the shop and showing “The Love”. We appreciate it Ice and the Bentley is going to “kill”… Guess that’s why such a perfect name for the color… MURDER Red!

Ice-T comes to check out the STRIPPED Bentley!

As promised guys here is round 2 of the pictures. Ice stops by to check out the progress of his Candy Apple “Murder Red” Bentley GT (A special color developed by HARD Lifestyle exclusively for this project). We take a shot at selling him on the idea of Tape Fades on the sides of this “one of a kind” Bentley… But alas the unanimous decision was to stay sort of conservative on this one and just go solid candy finish… No graphics or lines in it.
You can see from a few of the pics it would have been definitely a HARD Bentley with tape fades, however this car is most definitely going to impress!

After this set I’ll put up the 3rd installment today including the shots of Coco and Ice-T playing around with the sample color shape… and the shots of Ice-T doing his thing with the camera!

Ice-T’s Bentley gets “STRIPPED”

You are looking at “D-Day” for a Bentley GT Continental owned by none other than the “O.G.” himself Ice-T. When Ice said he wanted to fix the paint job on his Bentley and wanted a TRUE Candy Apple Red… We knew it had to be “Paint-Slinger Extraordinaire” Jeff Mersey from Merzees Custom Paint. Jeff is the master when it comes to top notch show quality paint work. With Jeff on board and our HIGH TECH Custom Paints ALWAYS in hand it was time to attack a Bentley!

Take a look below as we tear into this $180,000 car like it was a Toyota Corolla….

Cory Saint Clair Incredible Airbrush Art

I wanted to share with you a collection from one of our top artists Cory Saint Clair. This is just an appetizer of what’s to come from this incredible artist.
Cory burst onto the California scene a few years back, hailing from my last hometown of Atlanta Georgia, we hit it off right away. Cory is responsible for some of the most realistic, and cutting edge art out there today.
The first artist to play with the interactive Heat Reactive Paint, Cory shocked everyone with the Super Street bike Magazine feature bike “Tattoo”. He used a combination of Heat Reactive Paint and Blue Candy so when the bike was cold it was black, but when it warmed up it became Blue with a highly detailed, Tattoo inspired Japanese graphics scheme.
Cory is also responsible for the “FALLEN SOLDIER” Iraq War Memorial Vehicle shown in this showcase, which I think I can speak for EVERYONE who has seen this car it takes your breath away and instills a true feeling of American pride in a group of men who gave it all for our freedom, so I could write these blogs like I am tonight, and share with you my passions. Some people will never be this lucky!
So to the soldiers THANK YOU!!!
You will always have my support as long as you are forced to be there. To Cory Saint Clair, keep up the inspiring work brother, I’ve known you for a few years now….

Steve Vai’s EXOTIC Chrome Guitar

This project is definitely worth sharing. This incredible guitar was made special for the modern day super hero of the guitar world Steve Vai. Emerald Guitars in Ireland came up with the “out of this world” design. When Allister wanted to make this guitar look “carved” out of a block of metal Chrome was the only option. The addition of a Red Candy fade really put it over the top.
With the current situation of markets flooded with Chinese import instruments Allister’s business slowed to the point he is currently doing only VERY limited runs. My goal with this post is to let the world know that one of the true innovators Allister from Emerald Guitars in Ireland is the place to go when you really want a “top of the line” finely crafted instrument, and if enough of us go get one he’ll be back on top of the industry in no time. Mr. Vai knew where to get quality, and I say we can trust his judgement!
Allister made me a few Carbon Fiber Acoustic / Electric guitars that have the most AMAZING action and solid tone I’ve seen. Don’t take our word for it… Ask around or better yet go get one and experience it for yourself.

Patriots YOU CHEATED Parody Song

Although I’m not a Giants fan per say, I have to admit I was glad to see them pull the “upset” this year against the New England Patriots. I would have hated to hear everyone for years to come talking about how Bill and the Patriots didn’t deserve it after all the “SpyGate” B.S. that went on this year. As far as I’m concerned the face of football was saved! Now you knew it wouldn’t take long for the parody songs to show up but this one just made me laugh so I figured we’d share it here.
We plan to put up the craziest or just plain funniest videos we find on the web here on our blogs and share with the rest of you. Let us know what you think guys…. Drop some comments too!
